Despite the growing cultural, racial, and ethnic diversity in America, limited resources are available to provide support to Parents, Attorney’s and Advocates who are advocating on behalf of children with exceptionality that come from diverse ethnic, linguistic, cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. COPAA Social and Racial Equity Committee compiled this resource page in response to that need.

New Education Majority
The Leadership Conference recently completed the “New Education Majority” national poll which explores how Black and Latino parents and families view the American education system’s success in educating their children. The poll is meant to start a conversation about how parents view education policy related to students of color and to engage advocates so that they can push toward systemic change in their communities and across the nation.
