Senate Minority Report Says Outdated Laws Leave People with Disabilities Behind

As follow-up to the General Accounting Office (GAO) release of several key reports on the status of youth and adults with disabilities, Senator Patty Murray released Disability Employment: Outdated Laws Leave People with Disabilities Behind in Today’s Economy which brings together key highlights and recommendations made by the GAO to the U.S. Departments of Education, Labor and Health and Human Services to help reinforce how education and employment laws can fund and support new opportunities for people with disabilities.
