Regina Kline, Esq.

Regina “Gina” Kline is a Trial Attorney with the Disability Rights Section of the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. At DOJ, Gina has focused on the integration mandate of the Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”), protecting the civil rights of individuals with disabilities to receive services in the community. She has participated in cases in Rhode Island and Oregon enforcing Title II of the ADA as applied to employment service systems for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.  Gina will share recent settlements and investigations within the Department of Justice that are relevant to the work of COPAA members and colleagues.  

Prior to her work at DOJ, Gina was a law clerk to the Honorable Linda K. Davis in the D.C. Superior Court Criminal Mental Health Diversion Program. Gina graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland School of Law and Columbia University. In her prior life, Gina co-founded a non-profit serving homeless families and children and was an Americorps VISTA.
